New Medical Facility
/in News /by ClerkThe plans to build 3,000 houses between Bow Brickhill and Woburn Sands include a medical facility. The Futures Group set up by Woburn Sands Town Council have been looking at the sort of facilities residents would like to see included.
It is hoped that we can influence these decisions by making the attached questionnaire available for completion by as many people as possible. You are asked to prioritise in 1, 2, 3 order your choice of facilities and this will form the basis on which we can lobby for them to be included. Once completed, you can drop it in to Asplands reception, Woburn Sands Library, Town Clerk at Woburn Sands Town Hall (Memorial Hall) or email a.jordan@wstc.org.uk
Neighbourhood Futures Group
/in News /by ClerkThe Futures Panel was established by Woburn Sands TC as a way of involving local residents in the SEMK development.
In particular they wish to ensure that the South East MK development complemented the existing facilities in Woburn Sands (along with Wavendon and Bow Brickhill) and that, in addition to providing an attractive destination for new residents, that the development should enhance the lives of existing residents.
An open meeting to discuss the establishment of the Panel was held in March 23 and it attracted an attendance of over 70 residents. A number of these have agreed to serve on the panel and an initial meeting was held last month.
They will be holding their second meeting Tuesday 16 May 23 and would welcome a representative from Bow Brickhill. The primary matter under discussion will be the provision of medical facilities in SEMK.
Please contact clerk@bowbrickhill-pc.gov.uk if you are interested in attending.
